With elegant and welcoming rooms, The Urdang can cater for numbers between 20 and 300 people in either theatre, classroom, banquet, cabaret or cocktail styles. No matter how big, or small your event is, The Urdang can provide the perfect setting.
The Great Hall
Entering the largest space in the building from the lobby that links the majestic Council Chamber with the Great Hall, visitors enjoy its extremely original and ornate art nouveau décor in stunning and tasteful colours. This room is a work of art in its own right and is elegantly lit by the clerkenwell angels that frame the perimeters of the hall. The stage can be used for performances, musicians, DJ or for conferences it can be used to host projector screens and other AV equipment. The beautiful proportions of this Great hall facilitate seating and dinner dance arrangements for up to 200 people or 300 stand up reception.

The Council Chamber
Guests are welcomed into the classical splendour of The Urdangs’ Council Chamber. Situated on the first floor with access from two staircases it is suitable for receptions and formal greeting parties, the white pillars and rounded stain glass windows are complemented by impressively high ceilings and beautiful lighting. The Yellow Room
Slightly smaller than the Council Chamber and with a warm intimacy, the Yellow Room was infact the second Minor Council Chamber. Also situated on the first floor it can accommodate up to 40 seated guests, with the capacity increasing for cocktail gatherings or for more informal functions.

The Meeting / Wedding Room
At ground floor level, off the reception area and at the foot of one of the beautifully ornate staircases, the smallest single space within The Urdang is the Wedding Room that provides an elegant neutral backdrop, with its wood paneled walls, for meeting and small civil ceremonies - allowing for a capacity of 30 people.
